Michael Le Out of the entire industry, Vans Vault is unmatched in their collaborative variety — their silhouettes some of the most malleable as they seamlessly take to the creative direction of brands the blomstrede over. From their dive into luxury with Diemme years back to their on-going partnership with WTAPS and Taka Hayashi, their range of design seems to expand by the day. And while it released quite a bit in advance at select retailers, the Anaheim imprint’s collaboration with renowned fashion label Kenzo is now nearing its official arrival.
Though expansive in terms of its total breadth, the capsule is only based on two models: the iconic SK8-Hi Vans na lato Beżowe Old Skool. The latter, which arrives in three different variations, leaves little in the way of neutrals save for the bright white Jazz stripe. Constructions elsewhere, which are shrouded by a maximal arrangement of patterns, bear florals as they arrange a number of all-over prints that span a number of different palettes. Some hue light with pastel petals while others opt for bolder pairings of saturated reds or deep greens. The SK8-Hi mirrors the same motifs, sharing the graphics of two of the previously mentioned low-tops.
