Converse tried to make a splash recently with a Converse Weapon CX Sport Erkek Beyaz Sneaker has been popular and influential for a century, and now an alternate script logo-equipped makeup is joining its expansive ranks thanks to Converse Japan. Arriving in an elegant white with navy, a stark black with white, and a vivid hot red with white, all three shoes feature a tonal upper and midsole. Contrast is provided by thickly-embroidered cursive text on each shoe’s lateral side, split between “Con” on the left shoe and “Erse” on the right, with the connecting “V” appearing in part on both. The canvas upper is constructed of a more rugged and durable blend than a standard Chuck, but the shoe’s main technological innovation appears on the insole, which claims to be equipped with React cushioning. This would certainly be an interesting design tweak: past Chucks have used Lunarlon, but React has never been called upon for a casual Converse sneaker — just the new All Star Pro BB, a performance basketball silhouette. A classic circular logo Chevron on the medial collar and rubber badge on the heel Chevron arrive to complete the look. All three are set to release at the tail end of September, but as they’re Converse Japan shoes, we probably won’t see ’em stateside. Get a look at each makeup below, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for more info as it’s subservient.
