Ross Dwyer Toy Story’s Buzz and Woody may be cut from vastly different cloths, but the two have become inseparable over the course of the beloved franchise, and now their bond is providing the inspiration for a BAIT x reebok Double Insta Pump Tron. Buzz’s “the most important thing is that we stick together” quip has become one of the most memorable pieces of the Toy Story canon, so BAIT is taking those words to heart on this collaboration, dressing the left shoe in the colors of Buzz’s spacesuit and the right shoe in the palette of Woody’s western getup.
Buzz’s shoe features a white base with green and purple accents and plenty of astronautical detailing throughout. Its most standout details arrive via yellow “LIGHTYEAR” hits, a fan “Space Rangers” tongue badge, and a red Pump button, a clever nod to the hero’s wrist-mounted laser beam. On the other hand, Woody’s shoe puts the humble cowboy’s “aw shucks” nature on full display, with a fan denim base and cow-print overlays that are an obvious nod to his signature outfit. The heel/tongue tabs are dressed in a bandanna print, while yellow accents and a gum outsole acknowledge his shirt, hat, and boots. Unfortunately, these Instapumps will not see a full release — they were produced in extremely limited quantaties as a promo product to accompany the film’s launch — but you can enjoy a full look directly below.
