Since first releasing way back in the 1950s, the Samba has transcended the pitch to become a street style icon — loved the world over by a myriad of different subcultures for its legendary look. The Samba has received many special collaborative iterations over the years as well, and the kids brand to add their special embellishments to the Three Stripes classic is Tokyo’s Have A Good Time. The collaborative partners have opted to let the timeless design do most of the talking, as a black kangaroo leather is used for the upper, which then features further classic detailing like signature white stripes, gold stamped branding, and a translucent gum sole. Special details then arrive on the leather tongue — which features a large Have A Good Time print — and the leather sockliner, which boasts an all-over version of the same logo from the tongue. The shoes are also boutique by collaborative apparel, as a reversible track top, reversible track pants, and a classic Trefoil logo shirt add further to the special capsule collection. You can expect the full HAGT adidas collection to release on adidas.com and at select Three Stripe stockists worldwide October 25th, with the Sambas retailing for $140 USD.
