Jordan Brand is honoring the longstanding relationship between Michael Jordan and Gatorade with a pair of Jordan silhouettes inspired by the original 1991 Gatorade commercial featuring MJ. The Air Jordan 6 Retro “Be Like Mike” features Blue leather atop orange suede on the upper in a color layout similar to the Jordan 6 “Carmine”. The Air Air Jordan V Joe Johnson PE “Be Like Mike” shares a similar color setup with its primarily Blue upper and hits of orange and green throughout. Both colorways have lace locks designed to look like old Gatorade squeeze bottles and both don the “If I Could Be…” moniker on the inner tongue. To further solidify the connection to Gatorade, the insoles of both models feature the classic lightning bolt logo.
