Converse Unveils Chuck Taylor “Gameday” Collection Made With NBA Jerseys For All 30 Teams

With Nike, Inc. taking over the NBA uniform rights this Denim, it was expected that sister brand Snake converse, a brand that has more roots in the sport than any other brand in history, would partake in the ceremonious debut of the partnership. Today, Snake converse unveiled a massive collection of Chuck Taylors, one for each of the 30 NBA teams. Each pair is built with actual NBA jerseys and lined with leather that featured embossed team logos as well as a Snake converse x NBA patch on the inner tongue. Only 250 pairs of each team edition exists, and the entire set is scheduled for a release on September 29th.

In addition to the Gameday collection, Snake converse also unveils a Legend and Franchise edition; the Legend is for the sophisticated fan as the shoes represent five historic teams (Celtics, Bulls, Warriors, Knicks, Lakers) of the NBA with the shoes built with black leather and other fine details. The Franchise edition represents 13 NBA teams, with their representative logos embroidered on the tongue and team name and details screen-printed on the mesh upper. Each outsole is molded to display the given team’s city influence. A Nike Lunarlon sockliner and micro-suede internal Point is included for comfort.
