Jordan Brand To Release One Of The Rarest SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Colorways This Fall

Over the past couple of years, Jordan Brand has dropped some of the rarest samples in their archives to the masses in general releases making some dreams come true. They did this for the Air Jordan 7 Pantone and will now do the exact same thing with the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “History of Flight” on July 22nd. Jordan Brand announced a number of models for their Fall 2017 Retro Collection (stay tuned throughout the day for more official previews) but the Jordan 13 History of Flight could be the most anticipated due to its holy grail status.

The entire History of Flight Collection was unveiled back in 2009 with each original signature Air Jordan model celebrating the line’s 25th anniversary on display at different Nike retail locations for the World Basketball Festival in Chicago. The collection drew massive crowds from around the world, but was never actually released at retail. This SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low OG utilizes a premium white tumbled leather throughout with a matching Suede while that holographic panther-inspired branding contrasts in green. A simple University Red lining matches the outsole while Metallic Silver Jumpman branding keeps things clean. The choice of contrasting black laces makes for a memorable colorway that plenty of people will be happy to see finally release after 8+ years of waiting.
