With all of the craziness surrounding new Jordan Brand cosigns from DJ Khaled and Drake, it’s easy to forget who the original celebrity endorser for the Jumpman was: Spike Lee. His Mars Blackmon character helped pitch Mike’s earliest signatures with iconic black and white television commercials that coined the famous phrase ‘it’s gotta be the shoes’. There’s no word yet on what the Indigo will be, but the early snapshot showcases a navy leather. We’ll have to wait and see.
