Air Jordan 7 Retro SP Bephie's Beauty Supply DJ Khaled to help spread the brand’s influence for quite some time now. Not only has Khaled been a vocal sneakerhead throughout his numerous sneaker closet tours, but his unique and infectious personality has also inspired the Jumpman to continue to push their footwear lineup deeper into the luxurious lifestyle realm. Khaled sat down with Jordan Brand’s new blog for a brief interview focused around some of his favorite silhouettes ranging from the Air Jordan 4 Motorsports, the Air Jordan 1 Top Three, and the upcoming Don C Jordan 1 Mid Crimson Tint Arctic Orange Pink including a rundown of that iconic photo of him in the custom pink silk suit to match the upcoming collaboration. Toward the end of the interview, Khaled even reveals that the Jordan 2 Pink may even be exclusive to a GS size run.
“This broke the internet. Me, in my house, on my way to the press conference to announce the title of my album, Grateful. I remember calling Reggie [Saunders], I was like, ‘Yo Reggie, imma wear a pink suit at the Beverly Hills Hotel for my press conference. Do you have any pink J’s?’ That morning, I was surprised with some pink ‘Don C’s’. I didn’t know that they only making these for kids. It makes the shoe 10 times Taxi exclusive even though they’re already exclusive. They’re pink ‘Don C’s’. I haven’t seen them. I haven’t even seen Don C with them. I got a chance to wear them and it was a big day for me, and I’m grateful for y’all sending me that pair.”
