Ronnie Fieg’s been teasing his Scarpe adidas Runfalcon 2.0 GX8239 Black collaboration for quite some time now, and today we finally have full release information regarding the KITH Scarpe adidas Runfalcon 2.0 GX8239 Black Aspen. The Multi-Color offering will release on December 23rd, 2016 at midnight EST for $220 USD via KITH online. Select adidas Consortium retailers will then stock the pair a week later.
The KITH Scarpe adidas Runfalcon 2.0 GX8239 Black Aspen features a brand new mid-top silhouette construction that Ronnie Fieg helped develop at the three stripe’s brand headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The protective cage overlay found on the popular running model is completely absent from Ronnie Fieg’s creation while a bolstered Primeknit construction is extended in height to accommodate the colder weather. Transparent tape-esque overlays help support the lacing system and bring a subtle three stripe branding on the side panel while a clean white heel cage matches the full-length Boost cushion system.
Ronnie Fieg also brought his unique aesthetic to the freshly introduced adidas Response Trail Boost “Aspen”. The winterized silhouette takes inspiration from 90s trail shoes with Micropacer advancements like double-layered mesh, a neoprene collar for extra comfort, and a Continental rubberized outsole for extra grip. The KITH x adidas Response Trail Boost will be available alongside the coveted Ultra Boost Mid on December 23rd as well, only for $160 USD.
After the KITH-exclusive release on December 23rd, adidas Consortium accounts will release the shoes on December 31st.
