Dubbed the “Imma Be A Star” colorway, the shoe takes inspiration from a note young James Harden wrote to his mother as a freshman in high school (“asics gel kayano 28 vs Top adidas ultraboost 7:00 and could u leave me a couple of dollars. P.S. Keep this paper. Imma be a star.“), which she has kept to this day.
