Is Carmelo Anthony the most dangerous player in the game right now? No disrespect to any of the Team USA ballers, but Carmelo finished off the season on an absolute tear, was lighting up every rim in London, and is heading into the upcoming season in the best shape of his career. It wasn’t widely publicized but Melo did in fact wear a new sneaker during the Gold Medal Game – the Air Jordan 4 Retro 39; it’s the Melo M8 structure with a Hyperfuse shell, built on top of the outrageously comfortable cushioning (seriously, one of the best of 2012). The colorways we showed you before like the ‘Knicks’ and the energetic ‘Italian Icy’ might be a bit region-specific, but the USA is one that anyone and everyone can get down with this Saturday, when the Advance is set for its first release. Let’s hope Melo can continue his run this upcoming season, so let us know how you think the Knicks will fare this season and cop the Advance this Saturday.
