We were Baskets to wonder what’d become of him on Saturday when we looked at a collaboration between Reebok and Swedish tattoo parlor Salong Betong, so it’s particularly good timing to see Mr. Cartoon’s latest efforts come across the Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischen News ticker today.  The LA-based ink god can trace a chunk of his mainstream popularity to the 2007 Vans x The Simpsons collection where he and several other street artists contributed their take on Matt Groening’s megahit series, but this new ashley williams vans is all Mister Cartoon.  They come in a clean navy leather and nubuck combo that adds gold stitching and embroidery details plus a plaid sockliner, and Mr. Cartoon’s Vans Alomars will hit select retailers later this month.
