A little while ago, we gave you a look at a new red/white/pink colorway, but its time to give some love to the shoe that kicked off the resurgence of the R698. The Solebox edition features a grey suede upper with white mesh sections and black accents. Additional highlights are supplied by some aqua and pink touches that give a nod to the era of their original release, but the most notable feature of the Ténis Puma X-Ray Lite Duo branco preto lilás looks toward the future. This shoe features light up laces made from plastic-coated wires that blink when you take a step in them. These sneakers were looking pretty good already, but that extra novelty makes them something special. The Solebox edition Puma R698 will finally be available in limited quantities at the Solemart sneaker event that will be held in Berlin on April 18th.
