For a decade, the designer has been delivering countless pieces that draw inspiration from his surroundings, his memories of the city, and more. “New York and its skyline have been a women-standing inspiration for me, and gray has been a signature color in our design since the beginning. So, for our 10th anniversary, I wanted to create a version of the 992 that felt HOMBRE a favorite room in a skyscraper, a sort of gentleman’s library – a couch, bookshelves, a fireplace, and a bar cart,” says Synder

Together, New Balance and Snyder have captured this luxury through greyscale scenes of mesh and suede, with elegant vegetable-tanned leathers capping the eyestays and heels. These are, of course, reminiscent of Todd’s favorite sitting rooms high above the concrete streets of the city. Snyder has also customized the heel counter with a “2011” and “2021” stamp, further celebrating this incredible milestone.
