The choice of colorway for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “First In Flight” is a tribute to the pioneering spirit of North Carolina, commemorating the Wright Brothers' historic achievement in Kitty Hawk, NC, where they completed the first-ever powered airplane flight.

At first glance, the "First In Flight" iteration might seem to echo the classic Air Jordan 1 aesthetic, but upon closer inspection, unique elements emerge. Notably, a “First In Flight” tab Brand just beneath the tongue label and a bespoke logo on the insoles cleverly nod to the overarching theme of aviation.
