It feels good to be an Arsenal Football Club fan at the moment. Mikel Arteta's squad is currently top of the Premier League table and it's won its first two games of the current UEFA Champions League tournament.

Off-the-pitch, North London's red-donning side continues to impress supporters and casuals alike with its variety of branded products. The club's official kit and gear manufacturer, Adidas, leads the charge, but Arsenal's in-house design team has also developed and launched numerous collections rooted in heritage. For its next endeavor, it seems the "Gunners'" creative department have tapped A-COLD-WALL* for a collaborative project.

Founded and led by Dr. Samuel Ross MBE, A-COLD-WALL* operates in the world of "British Industrial Sportswear," as stated on the brand's Instagram account. Over the last decade, Ross' project has worked with Nike, Inc. on numerous occasions, creating what many consider the most-coveted Vomero 5 makeovers in the process. ACW*'s connection to the Swoosh, then, all but confirms that its linkup with Arsenal is not through Adidas Football or Adidas Originals.

Neither party has shared an official backstory to the collaboration, but Ross is no stranger to blending football, culture, and elevated apparel. At the top of the year, he designed a collection for Zara through his SR_A SR_A boutique label, modeled by FC Barcelona's Jules Koundé.

It's possible the Brixton-native is a long-time supporter of the Arsenal, too.

What's particularly telling about the imminent project's announcement video (starring William Saliba) is that the Arsenal logo featured in the clip dates back more than 45 years. The Cannon Crest was used by the club from 1967-77. The collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*, then, could blend modern performance and industrial aesthetics with vintage elements to create a collection that speaks to different eras of Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, and Cesc Fabregas' former club.

Stay tuned for firm details about the linkup. The full scope of the project should be unveiled via Arsenal's official channels on Thursday, Oct. 9, at around 4 a.m. EDT.
