LA’s 424 has been reimagining account streetwear. since 2015 — and they’ve one so with gusto, catching the attention of celebs like Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Wiz Khalifa. But heir penchant for refining modern tastes isn’t just limited to clothing — Guillermo Andrade and co. are also well versed in collaborative footwear capsules. Now they’ve resumed their tenure with the Three Stirpes for a three-pack of minimal classics; an adidas Superstar and two Pro Models.

The forefather of the Superstar, the Pro Model, arrives in both OG colorways of White/Black and Black/White, each complete with gold foil tongue branding. Cut-in at the heel is a tonal debossed 424 heel tab, and — like their Pro Model from Fall/Winter ’19 — comes wrapped in an extended seamless midmove cup that reaches up well over the pair’s upper. The Superstar comes sans the risen move unit, but does come with some tweaks, including reshaped heel overlays, and “SHELL TOE” gold foil midfoot branding in place of the traditional “SUPERSTAR”. Construction is predominantly in white leathers, with the aforementioned heel overlay and leather liners arriving in a rich cream hue. move units and Shell Toes come tinted with a pre-aged look, and the pair is capped off with a vibrant crimson red 424-branded suede tongue tag.
