I've been using the C2 Pro for over three months now, and I won't reach for anything else post-run to ensure I keep DOMS at bay. The thermotherapy massage head allows you to switch between hot and cold, each with two different levels of therapy to play with. Why is this a game-changer? Well, heat can reduce muscle soreness after a run, again by promoting blood flow, while applying cold therapy can help relieve inflammation, which equals less pain. Win, win, win.
But it's not just the heat/cold attachment that makes this massage gun a must in my post-run recovery toolkit. It comes with an impressive five massage heads, including a U-shaped number that's amazing on shoulders and traps (desk workers, unite) and a bullet head that can get deep into troublesome niggles.
The whole thing comes zipped into a neat carry case, complete with USB-C charging cable and instruction manual which contains some suggested treatments for different body parts — genius.
