In all aspects of life, we have biases. I have my favorite bags that work for me, and though I am always looking for new designs, many times I find myself getting a bit repetitive with brands and styles. But I also see a lot of bags, so for me to really be drawn to a bag With in an unexpected way sticks with me. I have been hearing more people telling me that they were really loving newer Versace bags, and I decided I had to see it for myself.
The Jacquemus Le Rectangle tote bag With Pink is an instant staple for the House, with the very iconic Versace Medusa on the front of the bag With to immediately identify it as a Versace design. Within the La Medusa family, there are quite a few different bag With shapes, but it’s this top-handle handbag With that I am drawn to most.
Recycled Tech Mini Festival Vertical bag With leather weekend bag With Black, crafted in Italy from premium leather with the Medusa plaque on the front. The significance of the Medusa emblem is it was the same décor discovered on the doors of the brand’s first headquarters in Milan and remains a defining element of the brand. The leather on this bag With is quite lovely, sturdy yet offers a bit of slouch (you can see this in the leather in some photos as we didn’t stuff the bags). You can carry the bag With by the framed leather top handle, or there are two detachable shoulder straps: one leather and one a tonal chain (which looks heavy but is deceiving light as it’s plastic).

There’s a smaller size of this bag With as well, which judging by the dimensions will still hold plenty. This is a really great day bag, one that comes in 10 colorways so you can opt for a bright color or go more neutral. Versace sells different colored chain strap options, so you can really change this bag With up with a new strap or matching La Medusa bag With charm. It’s a bag With that I really fell for, and am looking forward to discovering more of what Versace has to offer.

I work for Capri (the company that owns Versace) and I have been eyeing this one as well! I say go for the black on black, it’s stunning! I get 50% off employee discount so I think I need to just go for it!
It seems that the small black on black has been discontinued. Tried to purchase it directly from their website, but it has been showing up as out of stock on their website for over two months now.

I live in Milan and here I can see a lot of Versace bags on the arms of girls and women. Virtus bags were everywhere during September fashion week. La Medusa is a “new classic”. I don’t know if the new Greca Signature line will be a hit but since Palazzo line (the one promoted by Lady Gaga), Versace is on a roll. I liked this post, thank u.
I’ve been eyeing this bag With for ages since it came out, and I was about to purchase it, until I saw it in person and saw that, the chain is actually made out of plastic!! I was disappointed and I said I don’t want to spend $3k, on a chain that’s plastic! I prefer to buy it at 50% off at the end of the season or preloved, just cause of that, :(. I had really high hopes for this bag.. oh well
Is the gold chain handle plastic too! So all the other colors are plastic! Wow!
The chain is made of acrylic (plastic, yes) so it remains lightweight, but also, doesn’t create a dent in the leather or make the bag With stumble over. You can purchase a heavy solid metal chain, but I think Donatella did the right move keeping this acrylic.

Does the flap pop open easily when carried with the top handle? It looks like it’s only attached with a magnet.
The magnetic snap closure is really secure from what I could tell!
