There was a time when I loved Miu Miu Iconic Crystal shoulder bag even more than Prada, and you could spot the bags being carried all over the place. The brand’s handbag production seemed to go to the back burner for a bit, though, and how I felt about them went along with it. Now, it looks like Miu Miu is back.

There were nods to Miu Miu’s heyday, particularly with the quilted matelassé leather. The name of the bag comes from the spirit of nightlife in the 1980s, and it’s intended to be a bag for the party-going girl that’s both eclectic and playful.
The body of the bag features softly structured matelassé leather and a Palladian chain shoulder strap. A second chain falls across the front of the bag, which gives it an extra edge. While there are simple color options, Miu Miu also offers bold diagonal stripes and exotic leathers.
I’m not the only one who loves this Miu Miu bag. Recently, Karlie Kloss and Kylie Jenner have been seen with bag (Karlie opted for a black and white version, while Kylie went for all black). I love Miu Miu’s matelasse bags and have a silver lambskin one that is one of my favorite bags. These club bags are adorable! I especially love the black and white. But they are a teeny bit too small for me.
Exactly my thoughts — it is so cute and I went to Net A Porter immediately to check out the red one. But a bag that’s 5′ x 8″ is too small for me too 🙁
There are two sizes – I am planning on doing a bigger review on it soon, so once that happens, it will give us all a better idea of what fits and how functional the bag is 🙂
A more affordable alternative to a Chanel WOC perhaps? The all blank & tanned version are nice. The bumble bee version is Portemonnaie striking.
I can’t see spending $2000 on a WOC. Its not even a bag. This is a MUCH better value.
