Collaboration is at the heart of Louis Vuitton, and the limited edition pieces released within each curated capsule collection remain some of the brand’s most coveted—no matter the collaborator. From Supreme and Stephen Sprouse to Takashi Murakami to Urs Fischer and more, Louis Vuitton has long been accustomed to sharing its design process with a collaborator.
In 2019, Louis Vuitton caught the attention of die-hard fashion fans everywhere, calling on former Vogue creative director-at-large Grace Coddington to collaborate with Nicolas Ghesquière Vintage Louis Vuitton Keepall 50 Black Epi Leather. The capsule combined Coddington’s love of animals with the Maison’s storied heritage and roots in travel.
It was a fan favorite, and this fall, the duo reunites. Today we’re here to give you a first look at what’s in store.
Grace Coddington’s Cats and the Capsule That Captivated Fashion Fans
“My cats are not just adorable and comforting companions, they are also a constant source of inspiration,” Grace Coddington once said, and those cats just may be some of the world’s most famous. The bond between Coddington and her cats was the inspiration behind Louis Vuitton’s first collaboration with the fashion icon.
A range of products playfully depicted a love affair between cats Pumpkin and Blanket and Nicolas Ghesquière’s dogs Achille and Léon. That love affair continues this fall, with Coddington returning to the drawing board to celebrate Louis Vuitton’s spirit of travel.
The capsule collection includes a range of items, from a re-edition of the first collection’s iconic Capucines to Grace Coddington’s signature pajamas, footwear meant to take you far, bags, blankets, and more for long travel days by train or jet. The story continues with this installation of Louis Vuitton Travels With, adventuring to places like Sydney, London, the Great Wall of China, and even outer space!

The collection also includes an exclusive line of bags and kits for the Maison crafted from revolutionary foldable nylon. This allows icons like the Keepall to lie completely flat for packing. Of course, a collection marking an ode to Louis Vuitton’s beginnings would not be complete without a signature trunk, this time fitted with an illustrator’s essentials.
Items from the collection are finished with a special Grace Coddington/Louis Vuitton Paris leather patch. The collection is available in boutiques and on LouisVuitton.com from today, September 19th. GC has the ugliest style – who buys this crap?
They look like bags for children. I can’t believe some of them are nylon, so cheap.
Me
Louis Vuitton Capucines Bags
Looks like designed by Zombie 🧟♀️ So pathetic 😂
That Petite Malle with cat embosed and the Kirigami trio are super cute and the color are beautiful.
Again??
First collection pieces are everywhere on online platforms with “ Law” price 😂
Quotations from second hand bags Louis Vuitton Sénateur!
They’re all selling for way over retail, what are you talking about?
Check Stock X mate lol
When I was a little girl, I had a female cat whose name was Capucine, so I want the Capucine with all these cat patches on it !🤩
Louis Vuitton seems like only one trash band company keeps collaborating multiple times compared to others I think
Few are kinda cute but overall looks so cheap and don’t feel luxury at all
Rather underwhelming.
Where it says “redition” I assume is meant to say “re-edition.”
Hmmm… Interesting Choice 🤔
I briefly saw the Capucines BB while scrolling yesterday and i thought it was a dupe by Tory Burch or some other contemporary brand.
It screams “I’m a cool mom and I let my kids put stickers on my purse”
It sure doesn’t scream any of these things.
Capucines & the coin purses looks good.
nice
