Enlivening the Maison’s classic Monogram pieces, Louis Vuitton’s instantly recognizable mascot, Vivienne, pops up on a series of bags, accessories, and small leather goods. While Vivienne has been an integral part of these holiday collections since she joined the Maison in 2017, this year, the collection looks a little bit different.
The Vivienne Holiday 2024 Collection features two adorable themes—Candy Factor and Snow Show—which perfectly capture the essence of the holiday season. What’s different this year is that the collection features Monogram Canvas pieces only; there are no Damier bags or accessories included for 2024.
The collection includes two limited-edition bags, which make perfect gifts for collectors. A Nano Noé in the season’s Snow Show theme playfully showcases Vivienne in a Louis Vuitton winter wonderland. A removable Vivienne-shaped leather charm is a nice addition to the bags of the season. Meanwhile, the Candy Factory Nano Alma arrives in a seasonally appropriate print featuring candy motifs and bold read details.

I really wish Louis Vuitton would stop making these Vivienne collections. It feels so cheap and gimmicky… and it’s been going on for years. At least, back in the day, the Groom collection was cool and fit well with LV’s travel history. I like some of the artist collabs like Murakami’s cerises. But these Vivienne designs feel so safe and boring. Where is the excitement?
I’m sure they sell well since they keep churning them out. I just feel uninspired by them.

I agree. It is so …. tacky. They need to give us some amazing artistic collaborations again. Bring us back Murakami, Richard Prince, or Stephen Sprouse. Heck I’ll even take another Kusama collaboration. People actually wear them and purchase them and want them.

while I hate vivienne I fail to see what about it would be creepy? please explain how an adult vivienne collector is creepy. I have a particular dislike for “I’ve never seen it”-arguments. ok. so your world is small and homogenic. sad is what I’d call that.
I love the Christmas collections, and I love this year’s even more. My husband and I are taking our little boys to Disney World right before Christmas, and I think that little Alma would be so cute to carry around!
