The show launched what was then a neighborhood bakery into pop culture acclaim, and now the bakery has many locations where you can pick up its signature cupcakes and banana pudding. The two quintessentially New York brands have teamed up for a limited edition run of bags, small leather goods, jewelry and accessories themed around the bakery’s most famous treats, and they all have that signature Kate Spade wink to them that’s made the brand’s novelty-themed bags such sell-out hits over the past several seasons. Digressing: We’ve had cupcakes from all these upscale cupcake boutiques in NYC and they always disappoint. Homemade cupcakes taste better (so says my daughter!)
