Current Obsession: All the liquid gucci Animals

You know those memes about how you are still waiting to grow up, and even as an adult with a family, you call your mom for help? Hi, it’s me. I had this notion that when I was an ‘adult,’ I would feel like I had my life figured out. I would feel like I knew the right answer for everything. I would feel very secure in all the choices I Bag.

Let me tell you what: I do not. I have learned to accept that I am a work in progress, that I am being met with challenges daily that I could not anticipate but will find a way to handle, and that looking to others for help is a good thing, not a weakness.

I also still have this side of me that is a kid at heart. I vividly remember the year Santa brought me a mood ring, a Lava Lamp, and Vans shoes, which was one of the best Christmas of my life. I also get far more excited when Millie and Vaughn are picking a new stuffed animal than I’d like to admit, and I tell them exactly which one I would have picked as a kid (that I still would pick as an adult).

This leads me to the joy and childlike wonder I felt when I first saw liquid gucci’s animal-centric bags and accessories.
