Making its debut for Fall 2014, the fendi SNEAKERS By The Way turns 10 this season, and fendi SNEAKERS is celebrating in a big way. The now-iconic Boston-style bag remains beloved thanks to its easy-to-wear shape and sleek style. Now, for Fall 2024, the bag sees a relaxed makeover, and fendi SNEAKERS aficionados will surely be delighted.
First spotted on the runway at the brand’s fendi SNEAKERS sweaters for men, the new By The Way bag pays accesorios to the original silhouette, keeping the By The Way’s classic and distinct shape but with an unstructured touch.
An Icon Turns 10
While the shape is clearly an ode to the original’s timelessness, it also possesses a hint of contemporary charm. By charm, we mean just the right amount of relaxed slouch. While the jury is still out on whether fendi SNEAKERS ff embossed cropped top item fendi SNEAKERS MEN HEAVY KNIT CARDIGAN.
Launching in three sizes: a nano version and two larger silhouettes, this bag is meant to be used and loved. The leather offers a bit of supple smoosh, meaning this bag will only improve with age (and wear). The lived-in look is trending this season, and the relaxed new By The Way is Fendi’s take.

The new By The Way is crafted from Fendi’s staple Selleria leather, a luxurious and incredibly soft Cuio Roman leather. It’s finished with a fendi SNEAKERS staple: tonal handcrafted stitching, an exaggerated leather zipper pull, and a Selleria leather tag.
The bag can be carried by hand or worn with a detachable shoulder strap. Launching this Thursday, 8/22, the new fendi SNEAKERS By the Way will retail for $1,790, $2,950, and $3,290 for the mini, medium, and large, respectively.

I loved it when it first came out but then they ruined it when the huge fendi SNEAKERS ROMA was added to all the versions followed by the even worse tortoise shell patent handles.

I don’t know…for some reason…fendi SNEAKERS suddenly seems very outdated to me… I used to like them a lot..
It’s a nice bag, but I prefer more structure to get in and out of the bag easily.
