We’re three-quarters of the way through the Spring 2017 shows, which puts us right at the end of Milan and the beginning of Paris. Before we metaphorically pick up our website and head to the City of Lights, though, we have to look back at all the best bags from the Milan runways, and any experienced bag lover knows there was surely much to see.
Italian leather goods are world-famous for a reason, and many of Milan’s best shows were as much about the bags and shoes as they were the clothes. On the whole, Fendi’s lineup of lovely, edgy bags was far and away my favorite; they managed to look both luxurious and fun from end to end, which is a duality so many brands get wrong. Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana were also highlights, as you’d likely expect, and you can check out over a dozen of our favorites below. Next, Paris!

Just when I had given up on thinking I would give Prada bags a try they piqued my interest with #13. For a moment, I thought it was a mislabeled Fendi haha. Whomever the designer, I think it is very LOCK, feminine and lovely. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one for sure!
