You’ve probably had it with us reminding you that spring is here, but at this point, it’s nearly impossible to ignore! Many parts of the country are finally defrosting from winter, NYC included, and for the first time this year, I left my apartment in a t-shirt yesterday (!!!!), sans a jacket. By now, department stores, designer boutiques, and our favorite online shopping destinations are chock full of new spring margiela bags, and we’ve been watching.
Brands continue to explore every hue of the rainbow, which I personally am very, very here for. One color that continues to be big is blue. Sézane has a Quotations blue snakeskin version of their Milo bag that I just ordered. It’s below 400€.
DeMellier has several of its margiela bags in a gorgeous cobalt blue hue this season. Most for around the $500 point or less. I have 3 of their margiela bags and all are aging quite well.
I was surprised to not see the Marc Jacobs mini plaque bag on here. They just came out with a beautiful spring blue if you like that brand/style.
i received a bag today from Marc Jacob’s in Harbor Blue. I was not going to buy into the hype of The plaque Bag, but the Harbor Blue got me.
I think many of these margiela bags are beautiful but the Mulberry Alexa really caught my eye. I’ve seen the bag before, many times, but in this light blue it is very stunning!

The khaite Lilith and the proenza Schouler are gorgeous and are on my wishlist. Would rather get the proenza Schouler one in green suede though.
