While the chanel Bags might look nice, I’ve found quality issues in a recent Chanel bag purchase that Chanel was unwilling to help with (even for a bag under warranty!)
That is terrible. They used to be very good about that. I had a small bag with an adorable leather detail and a tiny black leather pom-pom flower. Unfortunately, the detail did not maintain its shape. They attempted to correct it twice, then gave me store credit for the bag.
At least they tried to fix yours. They won’t help me with my bag!

Surprised how Chanel continues to make so many styles in white. I bought a gorgeous Chanel white shiny lambskin bag for $5k and the pigment from my pants transferred after wearing the bag for a couple hours. The saleswoman failed to communicate this known issue, and I had to fight to exchange it. Chanel is special and timeless, but buyers beware – make sure to use a sales associate you trust with your investment piece.
I’m surprised they let you exchange it! They sold me a defective shopping bag and won’t exchange it or even fix it (apparently the 5 year warranty on a $7000 bag doesn’t cover the fact that it doesn’t stand up straight)!!!

Thank u! I purchased it 3/20/2024. I had tried to get a refund, repair or replacement in October (Chanel still has the bag). It’s a shopping tote with corners crumbling in. Chanel says 5-year warranty won’t cover!
