The second I saw the ad for it, my husband and I both said it looked like the Chanel version of the Hammock. Especially the Hammock with the drawstring sides.

Love this bag so much. I very much regret selling my similar Chanel Bucket bag from the early 90’s (for $750!!!) a few years ago. I must have been out of my mind, since these are now almost $7K. I think I would rather put my money towards something else – like a car – but wish I could.
The shape kind of reminds me of a takeout box. But I think it’s so smart/clever to have a side pocket for your phone. I like that detail.

When I first saw photos of the 25 bag I wasn’t that impressed. Once I saw the bag in person, my opinion changed. I went ahead and got the small bag, which is plenty big enough for me! I must admit that I think Chanel has a new “it bag” and love mine!
Same thing happened to me. The photos didn’t give it justice. When I saw it in the store this afternoon, it was love at first sight! The design was well thought of. I absolutely love it!

Such a silly thing to say… Most people can afford Chanel, it just depends what their priorities are. “The elite” you speak of aren’t out buying Chanel, they’re buying quiet luxury, no need to for them to flash designer items, no need to impress.

PSA, look closely at the drawstring. The CC pull shreds and cuts the leather on the drawstring. Not over time, but once you use it. Within a month your drawstring will be shredded! I overpaid for 2 of these from people who bought them new. This issue was not disclosed to me. They were sold as BNIB with receipts. While they are authentic, the drawstring wear is a manufacturing flaw for certain. Anyway, if you have money to burn and don’t care about this issue, I have a black one and white one to sell. Both BNIB with tags and receipts. But the drawstring won’t last and Chanel takes MONTHS to repair. Darn you Chanel!

Cool, so Chanel’s design team saw, liked and decided to copy Chloe’s camera bag from the year prior. I like it too (Chloe’s camera bag, not this.)
Well … it has CC hardware, so there’s that. Looks like they’re aiming to appeal to a younger demographic (that has access to their parens’ credit cards, I guess). It’s a bit juvenile. (Or I’m a bit old and fusty. Entirely possible.)
Just bought the medium in brown few weeks ago from Rue Cambon! Soo in love with it! Perfect Chanel bag so far, and very wearable. Lighter than classics large or the Grand shopping Tote, but yet spacious..love love this model 💓❤️
