I am here to tell you that I think the Celine Elegant Belt is a wardrobe must-have (or a similarly elegant statement belt), and I am also someone who does not remember the last time I wore a belt myself. That’s right, I don’t usually wear belts. It’s probably the athleisure wear that I am drawn to, or the fact that I like my pants cozy and loose, or that I need to find better pants and denim that fit well and would look flattering with a belt.

The resurgence of belts came with the quiet luxury movement of dressing. It’s a tad confusing, however, that on one end, incredibly oversized sweatpants paired with crop tops reign supreme, while on the other, trousers with a classy belt and neutral top paired with a blazer seem to be what fashion insiders are wearing.

Side note: Wearing what you want and what makes you feel good is the most important thing. Truly. Sometimes, it doesn’t even make you feel great, but it’s comfortable, and I am the queen of comfort.

Looping It All Together

However, with that being said, I found myself at an event in December having an internal dialogue with myself: “You spend time, effort, energy, and money on making sure your kids always have new outfits that not only they love but also make them look put together. It’s time to give yourself the same attention.”

And with that, if I had to call it a resolution of sorts, I would say that for 2025, I intend to put more care into how I dress. Actually, sidebar, this is precisely why I fell in love with bags: They automatically up the entire outfit. But let’s be honest, our bag can only do so much, and if we want to look more pulled together, we need to focus on the outfit as well.

With the resurgence of the Celine Triomphe logo, I find its aptly named Celine Elegant Belt to be one of the best options in the luxury belt world. It’s a logo, obviously, but it’s more understated than the H logo on a Hermès belt or Double G of Gucci and offers a solid finishing touch for your outfit.

Plus, I still find you can wear a simpler outfit, like trousers, with a nicer T-shirt and finish it with a belt for a much more refined look. I see the trend being called styled versus unstyled, but I think it should just be called accessorized.
