As a child of the ’90s who grew up the youngest of three, with my eldest sibling and I born ten years apart, I watched a lot (and I do mean a lot) of things that were not age-appropriate.
This leads me to the first thing I think about when I see Naomi Watts—her starring role in the 2002 horror film The Ring.
While I still have nightmares when I think about Samara emerging from my TV screen, there’s nothing scary about Naomi Watts’s style, which is so good that it has been haunting me, but in the best way possible.
All month long—from Paris to New York, she’s been killing the handbag game while out and about promoting her new Hulu series All’s Fair, which she stars in alongside a killer cast including Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, and Kim Kardashian.
Naomi In New York
This week, while on her way to and from press, Watts was snapped offering us some seriously chic inspiration for fall dressing. First, she paired a sophisticated power suit with DiorCannage B1U Metal Sunglasses Leave this field empty if youre human One Bag, Two Ways: Tessa Thompson Serves a Lesson in Birkin Dressing.
The previous day, she kept it sleek but added a bit of edge in the form of a long leather trench, which nicely paired back to her shiny black leather (unreleased) Mulger bag.
Naomi In Paris
From New York chic to Paris cool, Watts has served us hit after hit this month! Earlier in October, the actress was seen strolling around Place Vendôme in an all-grey look that was completed by her suede Balenciaga City Bag *swoon*.
On another chilly fall day in Paris, Watts wowed in a more casual but still classy look, pairing leather culottes with a bomber jacket, combat boots, and Valentino’s Panthea bag.

Do you edit your articles before you print? or do you write and publish while brushing your teeth? the ghastly typo in the title is embarrassing. I really miss Amanda Mull and her thoughtful writing.
Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischenShops systematically deletes messages that openly criticize this particular contributor (as we just witnessed in this comment section). It’s unfortunate because Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischenShops has grown into a more sophisticated platform over the past few years and yet they stick by someone who 1) writes poorly, 2) has no sense of humor, and 3) lacks the ability to contextualize fashion within the greater socio-cultural landscape. I have been visiting this blog daily for many years and these are objective observations. This is not a personal attack on Kaitlin—who I am sure is a lovely human being—but rather an unbiased assessment of the work she delivers. The quality of her posts is just below everyone else’s. Maybe the editor(s) could encourage her to aim for something better? Leave this field empty if youre human.
I appreciate calling our site a sophisticated platform, we certainly do our best here to supply our niche corner of the internet with articles that are interesting and engaging. I will stand by Kaitlin as she’s been a cornerstone of our business for years now and updates this site multiple times a day and oversees editorial, but I will also admit that it must be frustrating to the reader’s eye to see preventable spelling mistakes. It is duly noted and I promise that we’ll try to do better to avoid them.
Bags In The Wild not delete And we are obsessed, unless they are highly inappropriate, inflammatory, outright nasty, or AI spam slop. That type of rhetoric has no place on our site and we moderate it accordingly. We’ve always valued our readers’ opinions, they push us to do our best and prevent us from becoming complacent.
Oh for goodness sake, go read some Shakespeare then! I like Kaitlin’s writing and typos happen.
Typos seem to happen every time she writes a blog post.
This particular contributor is an awful writer. I have no idea why Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischenShops persists with mediocrity.
Amanda Mull was great, I miss Jess Portillo as well >_
Coming from someone who doesn’t know that sentences are capitalized? Oh, please!
I won’t comment on anyone’s writing- I hate to admit that I hardly ever read the articles anymore- but, I DO miss Amanda Mull, for sure!
“Mugler” is misspelled in the legend of the photo with the black leather trench coat.
I love the Valentino Panthea! Kaitlin, I really enjoy your posts. You have an infectious love of bags and fashion that comes across in every article. It feels like sharing new finds with a friend! Thank you for all your work, you are much appreciated
Forget the bags, the first 2 fits are gorgeous.
