Can Chanel really demand $3,800 for an incredibly standard-looking canvas backpack that’s just been given a little logo love? For comparison: very similar styles are available at a multitude of mall stores for about $20-$80. Are the Kardashians total suckers for ponying up that kind of cash for canvas, or are we all suckers for giving a brand like Chanel carte blanche to sell us what is essentially the IDEA of a bag, built with the most minimal construction possible?

Hate backpacks, never used them when I was in school. That said, even if Jesus C. himself made it with strands of his lovely locks, I would not buy one, less alone a Channel. Total rip-off.

We are all suckers. Karl could put the CC logo on a garbage bin and people would lap it up as some abstract monument of his genius. I’m definitely a hypocrite though as I just love Chanel’s accessories but I’m getting tired of Karls weird sense of humour for the bags.

These canvas bags are an insult, same as all Stella Maccartney bags.
First, I’m sure the Kardashians don’t buy their bags. And, I think it’s an insult to anyone’s intelligence to pay Chanel prices for that bag or a Stella McCartney.
My husband thought that this was a joke when I told him the price. He thought that I meant $34.

Wow, this is so not in tune with Khloe’s style. Looks like something Kourtney would rather wear. I do think that even though it’s ludicrous to spend that amount of money on plain ‘ol canvas ( I’d rather buy two PS1s, duh!) celeb wanna-bes like the Kardashians are always gonna buy them. Just for show. Because they can. Period.

I happen to own the very same “hula hoop” bag as seen on the arm of Kris Jenner. I can’t put anything in it besides a credit card or a lipstick without the bag sagging and the top flap buckling. It can’t even support the weight of a cell phone. It was not worth the price I paid for it. Maybe one of the Kardashians will buy it from me.

I quite like the quirkiness of the bag. I would buy it if I had ALOT of money. Unfortunately for now, the only kind of money I have is for solid LEATHER luxury bags. Hence why I cant buy this particular bag and shall not be owning any Stella McCartney bags!
