Bottega Veneta has undergone many iterations of change, particularly in the last 6 years. Following in his predecessor’s footsteps, Matthieu Blazy will be remembered for his modern, artful interpretation of Bottega Veneta’s heritage and the long list of fans he captured during his tenure.
The Kalimero Bag, Matthieu Blazy’s first bag for the House, has been integral to Blazy’s design process through his time at Bottega Veneta. The bag introduced an entirely new Жіночі on classic BV Intrecciato, woven entirely by hand without being sewn. Part of Blazy’s legacy at the House, Kalimero weave explored new ideals of artisanal engineering, later being introduced on other shapes and silhouettes.

While running around the city earlier this week, RiRi braved the freezing temps the only way one should: with a statement-making fur coat. She paired baggy denim with a hoodie and suede work boots. Later that week, the musically talented skincare mogul and mom wore the New Yorker uniform—head-to-toe black—when heading out one night. She paired the same Kalimero bag with an oversized leather bomber, over-the-knee slouchy boots, and her signature statement sunglasses.
