Sports pants, a little history

Athletic works pants were originally intended to be worn underneath another garment. Young sports brands such as adidas and Nike began producing low-cost tracksuits on a large scale using new elastic fibers. The 1980s followed with Marvin Gaye and the band Run-DMC, and then the 1990s with the worldwide rise of rap music.
